It's Us !

                                                                                                                                 10th December 2012  

                        It was Monday, beginning of the new week to be exact! Riya and I had planned to meet up near station at around 5 in the evening. She wanted to talk something important, she wanted to meet me from past couple of days, as I was busy with my project work, our meeting would get postponed.

                   Some time you get into habit or rather addicted to talk with a particular person, throughout the day without getting bored! It's like you both have one thing or the other with you and you both are just sharing it. You don't run out of topic ! And this things lead to feelings, cause you get to know each and everything about that person. Feelings lead to many things or rather you start to like that person cause you now have a image of that person in your mind. Same happened with me and riya, we use to chat daily, we use to spend most of our free time in college together. Eventually, it lead to something which we never intended in first place!

                        Well who doesn't has a crush in college ! Right? I remember her, she was cute but she had an attitude problem. While chatting, riya asked me about my crush, and as every other guy I answered, gave riya her details and suddenly she said

'I wants to see her!'

 Next day riya came near my classroom, texted me to come out and she waited near the door,

'Hi !'

'Where is she ?' can you imagine the tone, at first I didn't notice that but later I realized she was kind of rude don't know why?

'First row fifth bench the one in pink !'

'It's a baby pink not pink! and you can do better than her, huh !' Can you think of anything? cause at that moment I was thinking whether to take it as a compliment or Did I fail my self !

'What happened?'

'She is nowhere near you look at you and her ! You are far better than her !' Wow ! It was unexpected to listen such words, which make your male ego happy !

'I don't know what to say!'

'Don't say anything!'Riya said it in a weird tone

This whole thing was the beginning of so called feelings for each other !

                             Next day, in the  morning I was waiting for riya at station.We usually catch the 8.30 slow train but today she was late! Usually she comes on time but that day she was late and I was on time! She texted me saying to leave that daily train and we'll go by the next train! As I was looking around the platform, people waiting for train some others are in group eating snacks, some people getting ready to board the train while others getting ready to sing bhajan in the train. There she was looking a bit different today, Smile on her face not the usual look but a more elegant look. 

'Wow you look gorgeous today!' she was looking beautiful that day, she had that smile which she never had before, It was the first of it I was seeing !

'Thank you !'

'Come on we are going to be late to let's catch this train !'

'Sure' She said it happily !

As we reached vasai, we got off train in a hurry as we were late! while walking she asked me,

'How I'm looking?'

'I said na looking gorgeous and happy! And we are getting late already, you also got practicals and me too so lets run !'

'OK !' She smiled and blinked her eye lashes at the same time and that was so cute, looking at her I smiled and said,

'You made my day !'

'Thank you Motu !' She loved calling me motu and today she seems to be so happy !

                              After practicals I bunked my lectures and went with my gang. We use to spend our time in our parking lot, which was in front of our college.So when you are with you are gang you do many things, first of all a common one bird watching, or simply watching girls ! Second you just seat around and start your stories which goes way beyond anyone's imagination. And last crack jokes ! One of my friend saw Riya and her group getting down he got that into my notice,

'Are wo first year wali tere friend aha rahi hai niche uske group ke sath'

'Ha thik hai na unko bhi bunk marne de chill mar tu sale !'

Riya was walking toward the parking lot waved me Hi,

'Kute chali ?' I asked her out of curiosity!

'Going to eat Pizza! You coming ?'

'Nope you all have fun !' 

'Bye !' She sounded very odd !
Few minutes later she texted me,"Late hoil mala don't wait for me you leave !"

"OK" I replied !

Her mood was different now, she was happy in the morning and now she is Off don't know whats wrong with her now ! As she was with friends I didn't texted her ! It was her time with  her group. So I left college early and went to Gym , till now riya was offline!After dinner I opened my FB to check for update and the next thing I found out made look like I was dum ! It was her birthday! How did I forget ? Fuck I'm screwed ! She was happy cause it was her day. She loves her birthday and what did I do, She was dressed for the occasion! She hinted me twice , why didn't I listen ! So she was angry on me for sure ! She was offline the whole night , tried calling her but no luck phone was switched off !
                                 Next day I was waiting at platform number two our regular meeting point, she came little bit late stared at me with those bluish eyes with anger!
'Lets go !' It sounded like order !
'You angry ?'
'Why would I be angry ?Huh !'
'I forgot to wish you on your special day and was with you from morning and you gave me hint also and I as an idiot didn't catch it ! ' As I was about to end the answer she starting hitting me in public, as most of the crowd around was college crowd everyone was laughing !
'Idiot !How did you ? How could you ? Do you have any shame ? And still you are not sorry! you are like I made a mistake and now all is OK ! Don't talk to me ! I hate you ! At first I thought you would surprise me but noooo! You just treated me like it was nothing special !' And she just left to catch the train.
'Listen Riya .....!'And she left without looking back !
To over come this situation I had to come up with a plan or better make special moment for her.
                                  I asked one of her friend to bring her in the auditorium and instructed her just bring her don't say I asked her to do this !As soon as she entered she saw me and started staring with anger which could burst any moment ! As I knew a thing or two about her likes and dislike I had something in my mind. She loved the cheesy red velvet cake , basically its hard to get a cake but I managed a pastry! She loved toblerone and ferrero rocher.Got both ! And plus cadbury silk with roasted almond. And a happy birthday balloon! Rest was history she was happy! She hugged me and said "I wanted this from you yesterday. I love these small things , Love you !"
"My bad about yesterday hope you are happy with pastry !"
"Yup ! I wont forget these both days !"
                                    Can you imagine you forgetting your friends birthday and spending that whole day together without wishing !
                                    Back to December 2012, I was waiting for her near monginis cake shop near our station, texting her where are you ? she replied on my way ! She was accompanied by her best friend. Her friend left us saying "You both need to fix it !"Till that time we both had a hint that we were into each other. Riya stood in front of ,me and started crying,
'I know you like someone and I'm happy for you ' she was crying her eyes were red seeing at those I realized it is that moment where I need to speak to her about us now !
'You know riya you are right! I like someone in fact I love someone truly and you know what....... she also loves me back but I don't know that for sure !'
'Who is she ? Will you please tell me her name!'
'She is in front of me and she is crying for no reason' She stood still she got shocked. She suddenly stopped crying! She hugged me in public and whispered in my ear,
'I love you !'
'I love you too !' It didn't took long enough for me to reply it was in instant .
'Why  did you took so long ?'
'You are my friend's sister I need to think it should not be like I did wrong with your sister '
'Nothing will happen now cause it's us now !I want you forever, love you so much !'
'Love you too !'
'Whats next ?'
'I don't know !but now I'll surely figure it out !'
Only thing we both were afraid of was religion, she was Christian and me Hindu !                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  ..........................To be continued
